2 people have been confirmed dead after a building under construction collapsed early this morning around

Akure, Ondo State. Reports say the building which was to be used as a boarding house for a private school,
came crumbling down as workers on the site arrived to begin the day's
job. Two teenagers died in the incident while two others sustained
injuries and have been rushed to the hospital for medical attention
Residents in the area say the area is a swampy one and
it could be that the foundation of the building was not well done and
this led to its collapse
