The heat is on in the National Assembly and from the look of things, the
PDP is set to crumble in the areas that it matters most. Consequently,
President Goodluck Jonathan has made a very strong plea with the leaders
of both houses of the legislature to help save whatever is left of the
party to avoid loosing to the APC.
The president met with the
leadership of the Senate and the House of Reps from mid-night into the
early hours of Tuesday in Aso Rock where he begged them to do everything
possible in their power to stop a mass defection of PDP members into
the opposition APC. But they say it won't be an easy task...
