Buhari would lead the Nigerian military to fight Boko Haram - Osinbajo

VP candidate of the APC, Prof Yemi Osinbajo says if elected into government, Buhari would lead the Nigerian military in the fight against members of Boko Haram. Speaking at a town hall meeting organized by the Act Now Professionals in Abuja yesterday Jan 26th, Prof Osinbajo said the fight against Boko Haram can not be won by leading from the rear...
"The first priority is security and to question what has gone wrong in the military. Then, funding the military adequately and ensuring that the Commander-In-Chief leads from the front. But when he was Commander-In-Chief, Buhari led from the front as a soldier. You cannot lead from the rear. You cannot fail to go to where the insurgency is taking place and that is what Buhari has been saying.

Nigerian parents left their twins, 9, alone in the US and traveled to Nigeria

Nigerian parents, Jerusalem and Gladys Monday, have lost custody of their 9 yr old twins after they left them mostly to themselves in their New Hampshire apartment for four months and took their other three children to Nigeria. They left their twins in the care of an uncle who hardly visited. More of the story below from AP...
Manchester police said the uncle, 25-year-old Giobari Atura (pictured above), told them he would stop by every couple of days to drop off food, but when police got involved in November, they found no edible food in the refrigerator and only ramen noodles in a cabinet.
Atura was charged in December with one count of endangering the welfare of a child, a misdemeanor. He was freed on $500 bail.
Atura's older brother, Jerusalem Monday, left for Nigeria with his wife and three of their children in July, intending to return in August. They told police they were delayed by illness and passport problems.

AMEBO EXCLUSIVE: AM THE CHANGE LAGOS NEED, JIMI AGBAJE (PDP) GOVT. CANDIDATE

Looking at the annual Internal Generated Revenue in Lagos State, can you really say that the state government has matched the money with the level of development across the state?

The answer is no. Although I am not saying the state has not done anything at all. The IGR has moved from N10bn in 1999 to N400bn today. So you have an increase in capital. But then what has been the other side of it? The question is one, our borrowing has also increased. As recent as 2007, I think our borrowing was about 51 per cent of the total revenue but today as at the end of 2014, our borrowing is now about 113 percent of the total revenue. In other words, today, Lagos owes about N435 billion and our income is about N389 billion. So, our debt has increased tremendously. Here people talk about the rating and rankings, but everyone knows that rating or not, when you are borrowing at that rate, especially now that oil has crashed, and we have debts in dollars which we have to pay, we are in for a tough time ahead....continue after the cut

Should FG withdraw Nigerian soldiers involved in peace keeping missions abroad?

I support this. You can't be sending troops on peace keeping mission in foreign countries when your own country is burning. Nigeria stands a better chance of defeating Boko Haram if these troops return and are deployed to the North. Which country is helping us tackle this Boko Haram menace? What do you guys think?

Handsome son of Bauchi state Governor, Isa Yuguda, Umar married his beautiful bride Safiya in Dec. 2014. Umar, revealed that he first saw her photos on social media (instagram) and fell in love even before he met her in real life
"I was just scrolling through a social media site, I wouldn't mention which one so that other people wouldn't go and be searching for my wife too. So as I was searching through and I now saw the finest girl. To me she was the most beautiful girl I'd ever seen and I was like you know what, this has to be my wife because obviously she is the most beautiful girl in my eyes, that means I can't look outside. I was so shocked because it was the same girl that I'd seen online, that I was like this is my wife. I now went on a mission to get my wife"he said.

JIMI AGBAJE SPEAKS THROUGH MANIFESTO

I have always maintained that irrespective of religion, tribe or political affiliation, at the end of the day, each voter must ask these basic questions: "Which candidate's plan adequately articulates my interests and dreams as well as that of my family? Which plan offers me a chance to get ahead in life? - which could be starting a business, or attending and completing school with the possibility of getting a job, or accessing better healthcare for you and your loved ones, or simply being treated with dignity and respect as a human being
Without prejudice or guile, I'm confident in my vision for Lagos and in our ability as a people to move this State forward in a fundamentally new direction. A direction that exalts the welfare and prosperity of ordinary people over the narrow and selfish worldview of "vested interests". This is why today, I am proud to present my MANIFESTO to the people of Lagos.

Download a copy of my MANIFESTO. Visit www.jimiagbaje.com/manifesto
Feel free to leave a comment below and share this Manifesto with friends and family. God bless.

Come Join The Train ….To free Lagos!!!!

Since inception, Lagos state has been a place where people have lived, co-habited and developed freely and without fears.

Never in the history of our great state has one man pocketed and cornered the entire resources of lagos state until the advent of a particular leader (Dealer).
He has boasted that even if he puts forward a goat, the people of Lagos will vote such a candidate once he is paraded under his banner. Of course, it is an open secret that he himself freely boasts that he has maximum control of all levers of influence and power round the state, namely: the judiciary, security apparati, leaders of corporate sector, transport union leaders, market men and women association: artisan(s), and students groups.

As a style, every four years, he seeks out novices, political neophytes and cronies: and propels them into the fray of key political contests; backing them with his entire financial armory.
Tacitly, this our man had completed four terms in office as CEO, Lagos state PLC……whilst honest, hardworking and law abiding (legitimate) sons and daughters of Lagos are fed crumbs from the table of this GRANDMASTER!
